R10 House Extension

revitalization of the apartament house

The assumption of the project is full revitalization including the renovation of facades and common parts as well as the superstructure of the building housing luxury living spaces. The project assumes that its implementation will benefit, in addition to new buyers of premises, also the current tenants of the house.

The first impression of the project is the renovated front facade of the building – painted in an elegant, light gray color, with the lower part covered with andesite – stone from Lesser Poland, which is used in the finishing of the most representative buildings of Warsaw’s Downtown. Details – such as the division of windows on the lowest floor, or uniform advertising signs of service outlets will emphasize the character of the tenement house. Other building façades will also be revitalized, they are assumed to be light gray. The new entrance gate, made similiar to an existing one separates the semi-private space of tenants with its full glazing. Access to residential area is provided by restored staircases, with new quality introduced in the form of wooden paneling, mirrors that expand the space, primarily elevators allowing access to the upper floor and the level of the extension, mixing five luxury apartments.

The proposed apartments are unique, two-storey spaces with wide windows from the front, full glazing from the yard and skylights in roofs. Large films give customers the freedom to create not only functional, but also unique, multi-level residential space.
